Motivated to join us and make a difference beyond earth? We are currently looking for a Financial Controller to join us in Luxembourg.

**The Role and location**

Key responsibilities include:

- Acting as a trusted partner for the projects and their stakeholders, working in close interaction with the Project Managers and their project teams;
- Being accountable for financial controlling of projects, including monitoring of expenditure against approved budget, checking compliance of charges and other costs within project scope, ensuring that expenses are eligible per contract, and following up with budget owners and/or other project stakeholders;
- Participating in the development of budget and any revisions, and conducting monthly reviews of project actuals versus budget with the Project Manager;
- Adjust forecasts and estimated costs at completion, highlighting risks and opportunities;
- Performing other financial controlling tasks for the projects upon request;
- Support ERP implementation from controlling standpoint.

**Required Experience**:

- Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in financial management/controlling in an international and complex environment;
- Very strong skills in budgeting, controlling, financial forecasting, planning and analysis;
- Strong analytical skills with ability to set priorities, complete work with autonomy, and meet deadlines;
- Capacity to synthesize complex financial information and ability to translate financial data into business understanding and expertise;
- Experience in building state of the art dashboards and reporting for specific target groups;
- Ability to contribute to decision-making processes with other stakeholders;
- Excellent communication and organizational skills;
- Effective collaboration and communication;
- Proactive, client and solution-oriented;
- Computer proficiency with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel;
- Fluent command of English, second language a plus.

**Desired Experience**:

- Knowledge of Netsuite is a plus;
- Experience within the space industry and dealing with ESA programme

**Desired Education**:

- University degree in business/finance/economics, or equivalent;
