What is the HR Consulting team for?
This team delivers strategic solutions to the business by partnering with local client groups to deliver key services and solutions through the effective integration of HR programs and policies. In collaboration with Global Client Partnering, this team leads and supports the development and implementation of human capital practices and strategies for various lines of business, managing complex situations which require in depth analysis and evaluation resulting in recommendations and solutions aligned with business needs and local HR policies and practices.
What are the ongoing responsibilities of a Senior HR Consultant?- Collaborate with the HR Director, Senior HR Business Partners and leaders to understand needs, trends, metrics/analytics, and to propose solutions and alternatives that support business objectives to balance local and global needs.- Provide guidance on, and facilitation of, the implementation of effective people management solutions across the entire talent management lifecycle for assigned locations. Lead and support the development and implementation of complex solutions, crosscutting business unit initiatives with regional or global impact. Understand local regulatory and legal requirements.- Partner with leaders and employees to identify and deliver HR services and solutions that will contribute to drive business success.- Advise, consult, and guide on compensation, benefits, recruiting, organisational development, talent management, team effectiveness and organization design deliverables.- Independently provide consultation and coaching for leaders in the assessment and resolution of issues focused on increasing the effectiveness of employees, leaders, and teams utilizing Talent Management tools, COE resources (including external resources), and a change management philosophy, and taking a cross-functional and/or global perspective, as needed.- Facilitate team and group work as needed. Knows when to partner with COE expertise for further consulting.- Support HR reporting for the legal entity in Luxemburg and the 10 branches in Europe and preparing HR information decks for board report- Serve as the direct contact for employees and leaders on HR policies, practices and solutions- Work with other HR Consultants and HR Centres of Excellence (COEs), such as Global Total Rewards or Talent Management, to ensure our HR policies and procedures are compliant with local legislative or regulatory requirements and/or market practice- Partner with leaders and employees to identify and deliver HR services and solutions that will contribute to drive business success- Utilize effective people management solutions across the entire talent management lifecycle for the assigned locations- Partner with Talent Acquisition team on recruiting activities in the assigned locations- Participate in Global and European HR projects
What qualifications, skills and experience would help someone to be successful?- University Degree or equivalent experience- Minimum of 4 years of experience in HR Consulting and experience with the French market- Fluent in French and English- Ability to work independently and self-sufficiently- Extensive experience in project work- In-depth knowledge of HR consulting in French and Lux environments, and basic knowledge of related disciplines- Ability to understand complex organisations and business models- Pro-active with strong relationship building skills- Able to work under pressure
