Our client is a leading financial technology company offering onsite, online and mobile merchants, the ”One Stop Solution” to their Point of Sale, e-Payment and credit card processing transactions. Having been granted the license to operate as a payment institution by the Luxembourg regulator, our client is now searching to recruit the following profile:
**Chief Compliance Officer (M/F)**

**Mission**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Implement and Spearhead regulatory compliance strategies and compliance programs
- Oversight on all Compliance Matters including AML/CFT, Licensing, KYC, Transaction Monitoring, Sanctions Screening, and Reporting
- Provide advisory and support the business on all compliance matters
- Be the liaison officer with CSSF and regulatory bodies, as well as facilitating internal and external compliance requirements
- Enhance and Develop AML/CFT policies, standards and operating procedures & controls
- Work with effectively with other business units
- Conduct reviews on the adequacy and relevance of regulatory and compliance strategies, policies and frameworks, and oversee enhancements to address control deficiencies
- Continuously improve and conduct compliance training programs
- Stay abreast on the relevant regulatory developments, compliance policies and procedures

**Profile**:

- 8+ years of relevant experience in compliance roles of an international scope (AML/CFT, compliance in Payment, Banking or Financial Markets
- Rich experience in compliance practice operation and experiences in communication with payment institution regulators is required
- Experience in developing and administering internal controls and processes
- Ability to work collaboratively with a broad range of business functions
- Accredited AML certifications are advantageous
- Experience in the payment industry is a plus
- Cross-Border/Europe/APAC experience is a plus
