**Job description**
As the
**Chief Compliance Officer - Head of Compliance**, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading company's compliance efforts. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the organization adheres to all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Your expertise will be essential in developing and implementing compliance policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate risks effectively.
Your key responsibilities will include the following:
- Establishing and maintaining a robust compliance framework that aligns with industry best practices and regulatory requirements;
- Leading compliance training programs for employees to foster a culture of compliance and ethics throughout the organization;
- Conducting regular compliance risk assessments and identifying areas for improvement;
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement compliance measures across various business units;
- Developing and updating compliance policies and procedures in response to regulatory changes;
- Serving as the primary point of contact with regulatory authorities and managing compliance-related inquiries or inspections;
- Monitoring and reporting on compliance metrics and trends to senior management and the Board of Directors;
- Staying up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations to ensure the organization's compliance program remains current.
**Profile**
- Minimum 6 years of experience in a compliance-related role;
- In-depth knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance best practices;
- Proven track record in designing and implementing effective compliance programs;
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess complex compliance issues;
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in high-pressure situations;
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Compliance Officer, Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager) are a plus.
