Our PSF and AIF service provider client is growing in Luxembourg city centre.

This is a great opportunity to undertake interesting work during a 1 years CDD for maternity leave cover.

In this role you will:

- Support the controls over the risks of the company including the operational risks
- Support the conduct of the compliance monitoring programme
- Support the maintenance of the manual of procedures
- Draft reports to the regulator, to the board and executive management
- Support regulatory watch and do associated legal research
- Guide business and clients in regulatory projects related to investment funds
- Be part of the escalation process for AML matters
- Maintain the AML policy, and update updating the AML risk assessment and AML risk appetite
- Supporting and performing due diligences on clients / their service providers / fund structures during the onboarding phase and on an ongoing basis
- Preparing on-site visits and support in drafting of concise high-quality due diligence reports
- Support and contribute to the preparation of client acceptance committees
- Support on AML/CFT on assets
- Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a compliance / AML or associated legal role.
- Speak excellent English
- Have experience in conducting compliance monitoring plan, risk assessments, driving regulatory projects
- Compliance/AML certification would be an asset
- Excellent understanding and knowledge of European and Luxembourg compliance and AML/CFT related regulation applicable to IFMs and its funds under management (including unregulated funds)
