Job description

As a Legal & Compliance Officer, you will provide legal support across the organization, ensuring compliance with international and domestic aviation laws. Your role will include drafting and reviewing contracts, advising on regulatory matters, managing legal risks and disputes, and supporting corporate governance.
- ** Legal Advice and Guidance**:
Providing expert legal advice to management, staff, and other stakeholders on a wide range of aviation-related legal issues
- ** Contract Management**

Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to aircraft operations, maintenance, leasing, and other aviation activities
- ** Compliance and Regulatory Matters**

Ensuring compliance with aviation laws and regulations, including those related to safety, security, environment, and international agreements

Assess the current compliance and KYC processes, and recommend enhancements to ensure robust due diligence, regulatory compliance, and effective risk management.
- ** Dispute Resolution**

Handling legal disputes and litigation, including negotiating settlements and representing the organization in court or arbitration
- ** Risk Management**

Analyzing legal risks related to aviation operations and implementing effective mitigation strategies
- ** International Law and Treaties**
Providing guidance on international air law, treaties, and conventions that regulate aviation activities
- ** Corporate Governance**
Ensuring adherence to corporate governance standards and regulatory requirements specific to the aviation sector

Job requirements
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Law or related field
- 3 to 5 years of significant legal experience, aviation or transportation industry appreciated
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English is mandatory
