The Luxembourg Stock Exchange (LuxSE) is looking for a:
**Head of Project & Portfolio Structuring**

Permanent Contract (M/F)

Responsibilities/missions

The Head of Project & Portfolio Structuring will be responsible for the Projects Department and for overseeing the entire portfolio of business (and IT) projects at the Luxembourg Stock Exchange. This person will lead a team of Project Managers and will be responsible for the efficient management of the IT department's budget. The role also involves close coordination with other departments to ensure that projects meet business needs and are delivered on time and on budget.

In particular, the Head of Project & Portfolio Structuring will be responsible for the following:

- Project portfolio management:

- Oversee the planning, implementation and closure of all the Luxembourg Stock Exchange’s projects
- Ensure that projects are aligned with the company's strategic objectives by capturing the needs of the business lines
- Propose portfolio trade-offs to the Executive Committee
- Define and enforce project governance and monitoring tools
- Regularly assess project performance and take corrective action where necessary
- Supervision of a team of project managers:

- Recruit, train, coach and assess project managers within the department
- Provide strategic direction, advice and support to team members
- Ensure effective collaboration and communication within the team
- Budget management:

- Develop and manage the IT department's budget, ensuring efficiency of spending and resource optimization
- Monitor the costs of each project and take steps to ensure that the allocated budgets are respected
- Interdepartmental collaboration:

- Work closely with other business departments to understand operational needs and ensure IT projects support them
- Ensure transparent communication and expectation management with internal stakeholders.

Profile
- At least 10 years of experience in the management of major projects including the supervision of teams of project managers
- Strong budgetary and financial management skills needed
- In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies and associated tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French
- Excellent interpersonal skills with leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of the financial markets sector would be an asset.
