**The role**:
You will be joining an experienced finance team so both teamwork and communication skills will be paramount. You will ensure organizational functionality and proper service provision in the areas of accounting, legal reporting and risk management on your own responsibility.

**Responsibilities**:

- Professional and personal leadership and motivation of the subordinate employees on the basis of the mission statement fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Oversee the daily operations of the finance department, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial activities, including tax returns.
- Independent preparation of the annual financial statements according to Lux‐GAAP and IFRS and all related requirements.
- Regulatory Reporting: Control / preparation of all legal, regulatory and statistical reports to the CSSF and the Central Bank of Luxembourg (BCL)
- Ensuring seamless communication and comprehensive reporting to the head office.
- Ensuring the risk management (ICAAP/ILAAP, economic planning and management information system) and its further development as well as support of any project tasks in this context
- Providing comprehensive oversight of managerial reporting processes
- Ensuring the overall bank management (including economic planning and management information system) and its further development as well as supporting any project tasks in this context.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth and profitability.
- Prepare and present financial forecasts, budgets, and reports to the executive team and stakeholders.
- Emphasizing the critical role of supporting the development and implementation of new products, services, and systems.
- Liaise with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and financial institutions.

**Essential Skills & Experience**:

- Degree in financial accounting or comparable training with minimum of 8 years of professional experience in finance with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Good knowledge in the area of (cross‐border) taxes (e.g. corporate income tax, VAT)
- Strong knowledge of Luxembourg's financial regulations and international finance.
- High sense of responsibility, profit and cost awareness
- Resilience / high degree of integrity and flexibility
- Assertiveness and leadership skills
- Dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English

You will report directly to the responsible Executive Board member and can look forward to appropriate remuneration including fringe benefits.
