The trainee will actively engage in the entire group sales lifecycle, from initial lead generation and quote preparation to event coordination and post-event analysis._ - OPERATIONS_ - Learn and Assist in Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with the Group Sales Manager to understand and contribute to the development and implementation of sales strategies tailored to the MICE segment. - Manage Group Relationships: Assist in building and maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients, agencies, and other partners to foster repeat business and long-term partnerships. - Quote Preparation and Negotiation: Gain hands-on experience in preparing detailed and competitive quotes for group bookings, learning effective negotiation techniques to secure favourable terms for the hotel. - Event Coordination: Support the coordination of group events, including room and banquet bookings, liaising with internal departments (e.g., operations, catering) to ensure seamless execution of events. - Database Management and Reporting: Maintain and update group business information in PMS systems (Opera Cloud) and CRM (MARS Salesforce), ensuring data accuracy and generating reports to track sales performance and identify opportunities for improvement. - Customer Experience Enhancement: Participate in initiatives to personalize the group experience, anticipate client needs, and address any issues promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. - Sustainability Initiatives: Assist in promoting and implementing the hotel’s sustainability practices within the sales process, ensuring responsible and eco-friendly interactions with clients. - Support Head of Sales: Support in identifying and developing new business opportunities by researching potential clients, attending networking events, and building relationships with key stakeholders in the MICE and group sales sectors. CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE - Ensure the customer's experience and personalise their stay, anticipating their needs and exceeding their expectations. - Respond to client incidents promptly, escalating to the responsible person when necessary. - Be knowledgeable and promote the hotel’s services and facilities as well as the entertainment programme, experiences and events. SUSTAINABILITY - Give visibility to sustainable attributes in the customer relationship (under the instructions of the marketing & branding department). - REQUIREMENTS_ - _Current Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Tourism or Business_ - _Advanced level in English and French.
