Accounting Manager

- Responsible for the day-to-day administration, bookkeeping and preparation of financial statements for various Luxembourg SPVs and funds.
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and year-end closings including related NAV calculations (where required).
- Liaison and interaction with clients, client advisors, investors, auditors (dealing with audit queries) and any other third parties.
- Coordinate and arranging investor servicing, including investor on-boarding and investors’ transactions.
- Ability to read and understand transactional legal documents/contracts to translate them into the books.
- Assisting in the organization of board meetings and shareholders’ meetings.
- Ability to prepare VAT & Tax returns.
- Ability to prepare the periodic CSSF/BCL reporting and any other funds related reports.
- Assistance in the preparation of consolidated accounts (where required).
- Undertake any project work as required, undertaking initiatives identified and designated from time to time by your direct Manager.
- Share your knowledge and experience with your colleagues.
- Coach and review the work of other team members.
- Act as a role model for new joiners in the team in order to train and guide them.

About you - requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in the fields of domiciliation and alternative investment fund administration or audit firms.
- Bachelor and/or Master’s degree in Accounting, Audit or Economics (ACA/ACCA/CIMA would be an asset).
- Detailed knowledge of LUXGAAP accounting principles, IFRS is a plus.
- Good knowledge of fund industry, holding and finance structures.
- Have advanced skills on MS Office tools and BOB50.
- Private Capital Suite (formerly Investran) knowledge would be a strong asset.
- Fluent in English (knowledge of French and/or German will be considered as an asset).
- Responsive and client focused with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to interact effectively (oral and written) with contacts both within and outside the company at all seniority levels.
- You possess team spirit, a capacity to build strong client relationships and take initiative to act without waiting for direction (when appropriate).
