**Job description**:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join the team of our customer. As a Financial Controller, you will play a key role in overseeing the financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with regulatory standards and accounting principles.
- Develop and manage the annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to establish financial targets and forecasts aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement to support decision-making and drive performance.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including reporting obligations, capital adequacy ratios, and financial disclosure standards prescribed by relevant authorities.
- Establish and maintain robust internal controls and procedures to safeguard assets, mitigate risks, and maintain the integrity of financial data and transactions.
- Coordinate internal and external audit activities, liaising with auditors to facilitate the audit process, address inquiries, and implement recommendations for process enhancements.
- Provide strategic financial guidance and support to senior management, offering insights and recommendations to optimize profitability, manage risk, and capitalize on market opportunities.

**Profile**:

- Master degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Several years of progressive experience in financial management, accounting, or auditing within the banking or financial services industry or as an asset manager.
- Thorough understanding of compliance requirements, and financial reporting standards.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.
