**General description**:
This position is responsible to ensure adequate accounting and reporting for income taxes of the ArcelorMittal Group. The responsibilities assigned require being a corporate contact for the entities and tax departments of the ArcelorMittal Group, including financial/accounting departments for more than 500 entities and around 40 tax professionals.

The position will interact with AM top management, business, service providers, external auditors, and other tax professionals in carrying out the responsibilities. The position has indirect line to GM Head of Tax Operations, with direct reporting to AM Manager Head of Tax Assurance.

**Specific responsibilities and accountabilities**:

- Management of consolidated income tax accounting for the ArcelorMittal Group
- Management of the worldwide tax accounting in accordance with the applicable accounting principles for IAS12, IFRIC23, IAS 34, IAS37,
- Preparation of the corporate income tax disclosures in the annual financial report and the internal and external quarterly result releases
- Management of the cash (income) tax reporting process together with preparation of Group cash tax budgets and Strategy forecasts,
- Monitoring and reporting of uncertain tax positions (IFRIC 23)
- Analysis of the impact of tax planning on the effective tax rate
- Preparation of the Country-by-Country reporting and any other sustainability reporting involving income and non-income taxes

**Qualifications**:
Degree in fiscal economics or alternatively in either Accounting and/or Tax law with experience in the other area

**Experience**:
Minimum 5 years relevant experience in a Big Four company or in a multinational organization in the tax accounting and financial reporting area.

**Required Skills**:
Firm understanding of tax and accounting principles (under IFRS)

Attention to detail and strong financial, analytical and problem-solving skills including working with a high number of companies in many tax jurisdictions

Be able to deal with difficult, sensitive, and conflicting situations

High flexibility, including willingness to travel

Very good knowledge of English, both oral and in written

Very good organizational and time-management skills

Demonstrate professionalism through a positive and cooperative attitude

Ability to work both in team and individually

An accounting/tax qualification (such as CPA, CA, ACCA, CTA etc.) would be an asset
