We will give you the room you need to pursue your passion for innovation and to bring your ideas to life. **Your Challenge** - As member of the Executive Board of the Bank, you support the CEO and the other Executive Board members in successfully implementing the long-term strategy of VP Bank Group at the Luxembourg location, with special focus on ensuring good risk management and compliance practices - You are responsible for the secure, success-oriented, forward-looking management of the Bank in accordance with the applicable laws, statutes, regulations and directives - The heads of the Compliance, Risk Controlling, Information Security and Legal departments will report directly to you - Your core activities include the ongoing analysis and optimization of an efficient organizational and operational structure and an effective internal control system to avoid and mitigate risks of all kinds - You ensure a good flow of information within the Executive Board and regularly exchange information with the Board of Directors, the members of the Executive Board and the Functional Heads at Group level in your specific areas of responsibility - Within the framework of a functional management structure, you will safeguard the interests of the Luxembourg location, considering specified Group standards - You actively lead, coach, and support the managers who report to you and act as a role model for the company's employees. You use target agreements and development discussions as instruments for implementing the strategic company goals - You will maintain an open and constructive dialogue with the Luxembourg regulatory authorities and will act as the Bank's person responsible for compliance with the professional obligations as regards the fight against money laundering and terrorist financing (responsible du respect des obligations - "RR") **Your Profile** - With at least 10 years of professional experience in the financial sector and a passion for finance, you have in-depth knowledge of the processes of a bank in a dynamic, fast-moving environment; you have acted as a role model for a larger organizational unit for at least 5 years as a manager or member of the executive board - Ideally, you have experience in ESG-relevant topics and projects - You have sound knowledge in the areas of risk management, with special focus on credit risk, and compliance; ideally, you have knowledge in the areas of legal and information security or are willing to contribute to these topics - You have excellent communication, presentation and problem-solving skills - You are characterized by a strongly proactive and independent way of working. You can identify potential for improvement, find target-oriented, first-class solutions and thus contribute directly to the success of the Bank - With your positive can-do mentality, you proactively lead, coach and coordinate your managers; you enjoy your work and pass it on to others - You have successfully managed and implemented large projects with your convincing ideas and agile approach - You have very good knowledge of computer tools - Fluency in German and English is mandatory; French or knowledge of a Nordic language is considered as advantage In the event of an Employment we will ask you to present a criminal record.
