Role Summary
The Desktop Support Associate plays a key role in ensuring the smooth deployment, maintenance, and recovery of IT equipment across the organisation. This role provides hands-on support for hardware, assists with equipment lifecycle activities, and contributes to overall inventory and logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
Fulfil materials and equipment requests efficiently and accuratelyDeploy desk setups and monitor configurationsProvide desk-side support and manage quick-fix solutionsCollect IT equipment for terminations, upgrades, or decommissionsAssist with internal desk moves and hardware relocationsProvide troubleshooting and Tier 1 support where appropriateMaintain and restock IT cabinets and vending machinesPerform Level 1 vending machine maintenance (training provided)Conduct vending machine planogram changes, relocations, and decommissionsProactively manage inventory within deployment scopeTrack all hardware using internal data systems to ensure traceabilityManage e-waste logistics and support donation requestsReceive inbound hardware and conduct physical inventory countsSupport LATAM shipments and coordinate outbound logistics as neededWork closely with regional inventory teams to align operational effortsParticipate in cycle counting and contribute to overall stock accuracyComplete special projects as assigned by site leadershipMinimum Qualifications & Skills
Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)1+ years of experience in IT support, help desk, or desktop supportProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and OutlookStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenExcellent time management and prioritisation skillsDetail-oriented with strong organisational abilitiesAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamProfessionalism and a strong customer service mindsetPreferred Qualifications & Skills
Experience in logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, or similar environmentsFamiliarity with inventory tracking systems or asset management toolsBelonging at EOS
