Customer Data Analyst

Ferrero Luxembourg HQ is looking for a Customer Data Analyst for 1-year fixed term contract, to support the BI&A Data team and help achieve the Group's data ambitions. Thanks to this opportunity, you will be the reference for Ferrero Business on Customer data domain (Retailer data at local level with special focus on eCommerce and Shopper Data) on a global scale.

As Customer Data Analyst, you will provide retailer data insights, visibility of data set acquisition and availability characteristics, influencing new contracts' formalization aimed at enhancing standardization and discoverability. You will also gain business understanding of each data source and its specific granularity to support analytics projects. This will allow you to support analytics projects, leverage the data, and explore new opportunities to enable the company's growth.

This will include working with source data and the platforms leveraged for ingestion, designing data models that will feed different KPI dashboards and creating and overseeing quality control processes to ensure data are reliable.

In this role, you will work with other internal functions like local trade business stakeholders, to ensure the right definition of the KPIs, external data providers and data partners that we collaborate with.

Additionally, you will elevate the understanding of Customer data availability within the organization. You will be responsible for scouting new data sources as needed, conduct analyses and recommend framework for integrating new data sources. You will also support the​ maintenance of detailed documentation about the structure, content, and usage of the data, to ensure a clear understanding of available different data resources for the internal business stakeholders.

Your activities will also include collaborating with IT partners to design data models and set up data flows to ingest the relevant KPIs. You will also work with BI&A Analytics and Applications teams as well as Marketing and eCommerce stakeholders to ensure the data collected meets the needs of the business.

You will bring a degree in Mathematics, Economics or equivalent as well as 2-3 years of experience combined with professional experience in Retail, Data Management, Data Analytics and Data Reporting.

You will succeed in this role thanks to your ability to work in cross functional teams to drive the delivery of the projects and objectives set by the Group.

Your knowledge of database structures, data models and PowerBI will prove very valuable. Your excellent understanding of the Retail and FMCG market landscape, combined with a data-driven approach to best practices, will be instrumental in ensuring the effective collection of relevant market data.

You will set goals, meet deadlines, prioritize and multi-task while possessing outstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities, critical thinking and attention to detail.  

Experience in Food & Beverage sector, Retailers or other FMCG companies is highly appreciated.
