Senior Fund Lawyer – Fully Remote, Business Development

My client is an international legal and regulatory services firm with a strong focus on the asset management industry. Established in Europe in the early 2000s, the firm has expanded across several key financial centers worldwide and now brings together a team of several dozen professionals. The Luxembourg office plays a central role in advising clients on cross-border investment fund matters, combining global reach with local expertise.

This recruitment is the result of a new position created to reinforce the local investment funds team. It reflects the firm's sustained growth in Luxembourg and its commitment to providing tailored solutions to a diverse and international client base.

Your Responsibilities | Law – Attorney – Fund – Finance – Senior associate – Regulatory

• You will be advising clients on the structuring, formation, and operation of a wide range of investment funds, including AIF and UCITS.
• You will be drafting, reviewing, and negotiating fund documentation, offering documents, and agreements with service providers.
• It will be asking you to assist with regulatory filings and interactions with Luxembourg authorities.
• You will be monitoring and advising on EU and Luxembourg regulatory developments affecting the funds industry.
• You will be collaborating closely with colleagues in other offices and practice areas to deliver integrated cross-border solutions.
• You will be contributing to business development initiatives and supporting the growth of client relationships.
• It will be asking you to provide guidance and mentoring to junior lawyers when required.

Profile and Career Path | Law – Attorney – Fund – Finance – Senior associate – Regulatory

• You will have at least 5 years of experience in investment funds law, ideally gained within a law firm or financial services environment.
• You will be fluent in French and English; knowledge of German will be considered an asset.
• You will be comfortable working across a variety of fund-related matters and prepared to adopt a versatile approach.
• You will be motivated, rigorous, and curious, with a proactive and autonomous way of working.
• You will demonstrate a strong sense of service and the ability to build trust-based relationships with clients.
• You will show team spirit and enjoy working in a collaborative and international environment.
