Senior/Counsel Knowledge Lawyer - Investment Management

Your Role

You will join our Investment Management knowledge team which forms part of the central knowledge management department. Reporting to the Knowledge Management director and working within the Investment Management team, your role centers on three core missions:

• Template Drafting & Knowledge Development. Draft and update legal templates and other knowledge materials for the Investment Management teams; identify knowledge gaps and work to fill these on an ongoing basis; support and advise our teams and sister companies with their legal research and other legal queries; coordinate the production and distribution of know-how materials; maintain and curate our comprehensive knowledge database.

• Innovation & Technology Integration. Implement cutting-edge LegalTech tools, including AI solutions, to enhance practice efficiency; collaborate with our product development team to draft and update knowledge-related processes; lead knowledge management initiatives and pilot projects.

• Authority & Industry Engagement. Represent the firm in discussions with public authorities and professional organisations; participate in regulatory consultations and industry forums; enable partners to drive industry conversations through active participation in professional organisations.

• Additional Responsibilities. Track legal and regulatory developments, produce internal/external publications; interact regularly with partners, head of knowledge, head of LegalTech, other knowledge lawyers, lawyers and other teams (including marketing/business development team and learning department).

Your role offers the opportunity to shape legal practice through innovation whilst maintaining strong connections with regulatory bodies and industry associations.

Your Profile

• Excellent academic record with a university degree in law

• At least 5 to 10+ years of experience in the Luxembourg investment fund industry, ideally within a law firm or legal department

• Excellent writing skills in French and English with strong analytical ability

• Strong interest and enthusiasm for LegalTech and good technical abilities

• Engaged team player, dynamic, autonomous and flexible, with excellent communication and project management skills

• Fluent in both French and English. German will be an asset
