Profile

A capable and dependable professional to take shared responsibility for both accounting and company secretarial functions for Luxembourg SPVs. The role combines hands-on financial control and reporting with governance, compliance, and board support activities.

solid technical grounding in accounting, a working knowledge (or interest to be developed) in company secretarial matters, and above all, good practical judgment needed. Someone who can see the bigger picture and moving parts while keeping the details right.

Your Role: 

Accounting (70%)

• Prepare and/or review financial statements (stand-alone, consolidated) and footnotes and liaise with other Citco teams, where applicable.

• Maintain and control the funds' general ledgers and various sub-ledgers and take full ownership for the accuracy and completeness of standard and complex bookkeeping entries.

• You will be ensuring the reporting packages, financial statements and consolidated reports are in accordance with the defined accounting standards, formats and procedures.

• Coordinate and review calculations and funds flow allocations for capital calls and distributions.

• Liaise with internal accounting specialists as part of an integrative fund accounting servicing model.

• Complete ad hoc reports as needed.

• Act as liaison to various external stakeholders, i.e. auditors, tax advisors, legal counsel.

• Prepare and/or review regulatory reporting such as BCL, eCDF and submission of Lux GAAP annual accounts.

Company Secretarial (30%)

• Maintain statutory registers and corporate files in good order for all companies.
• Coordinate preparation of board and shareholder meeting packs, agendas, and minutes.
• Complete statutory filings with the Luxembourg LBR
• Maintenance of Citco entity management systems for the companies
• Support governance and compliance monitoring, including preparation of KYC packs
• Act as liaison with various internal and external stakeholder to ensure robust governance processes and compliance with policies and procedures
• Highly involved in regular calls and awareness of the transactions/events that concern the entities 
• Assist with ad hoc projects, corporate restructurings, and compliance updates.

About your skills and experience:

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, business-related area and/or studying for a professional accounting qualification (ie CA, CPA or ACCA or equivalent)

• You have a degree in Business or Finance related area

• 3+ years experience in accounting for the financial services sector, particularly Real Estate, Asset Management or Fund Administration is highly desirable

• Knowledge and experience in GAAP and IFRS
• Familiarity with tax-efficient European structures and related investment vehicles and regulatory requirements would be considered as an advantage
• Working knowledge of Yardi highly desirable
