As a coordination and project management role within our esteemed client's organization, this position presents a unique opportunity to oversee the operational implementation projects related to Transfer Agent services offered by our client.
The key responsibilities for this role include:
- Ensuring the seamless operational implementation and coordination of new business ventures (New Clients/funds/sub-funds).
- Conducting thorough analysis, from a Transfer Agent perspective, of any events that occur during a fund's lifecycle such as Mergers, liquidations, Migrations in/out, and providing comprehensive gap analysis between the final client requirements and our client's target operating models.
- Initiating and overseeing the timely completion of system setups.
- Cultivating and nurturing strong relationships with clients, internal colleagues, and other client teams.
- Maintaining structured and regular communication and monitoring of assigned projects, including sharing project status updates with operational teams through reporting, dedicated meetings, workshops, and clear email correspondence. Participating in workshops and conference calls related to client projects to grasp the requirements and identify specific client needs. Keeping project status and action logs updated and organized.
- Coordinating Closing Meetings and facilitating smooth hand-overs with the Operation teams.
- Proactively escalating any potential issues to the management team.
- Actively contributing to the continuous enhancement of the onboarding process by suggesting practical and effective solutions.
Expected results :
To successfully deliver the projects allocated within the timeframe agreed between parties
- Business: Possess profound and technical expertise in Transfer Agent operations, including familiarity with fund event procedures (Migration In/Out, merger, new fund, new share-classes, Migr)
- Business: Ideally, have knowledge of MFTA, AML/KYC, and TA fees (CDSC, ADL, etc.)
- Language: Proficiency in French, English, German, and any additional language would be deemed advantageous
