Head of Finance Digitalization

The Head of Finance Digitalization will shape the digital initiatives that will optimize operations and bring value to the business, improve employee experience, productivity and engagement. The Head of Finance Digitalization drive growth and strategic planning by evolving an organization into the digital age. His/her focus is on creating new value through the smart use of digital tools, platforms, technologies, services, and processes.
The Head of Finance Digitalization will be responsible to oversees project governance, ensures standardized processes, and drives successful delivery across all projects.
The position reports directly to the CFO Long Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead digital strategy efforts across the Finance organization in Long Products Europe and identify digitalization requirements and determine their priorities
- Lead implementation and optimization of ERP, EPM, RPA, and analytics platforms with IT department to implement successful digital transformation by manage dependencies and ensuring resource planning.
- Redesign and automate end‑to‑end finance processes (P2P, O2C, R2R, FP&A)
- Drive adoption of advanced analytics, dashboards, and self‑service reporting
- Establish strong data governance and ensure high data quality
- Partner with CFO, CIO, and business leaders to align digital initiatives
- Lead change‑management efforts and upskill finance teams in digital capabilities
- Ensure compliance, security, and regulatory alignment across digital solutions
- Interact with the IT department to make sure that the different digitalization requirements are implemented as per its defined scope, on time and on budget
- Establishes and enforces project governance, standards and reporting to ensure consistent delivery.
- Monitors project performance, risks and resources to keep initiatives aligned with strategic goals.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in finance, digital transformation, or financial systems leadership
- Strong understanding of finance processes, accounting, and FP&A
- Hands‑on experience with ERP systems (SAP, BPM and BI tools) and automation tools
- Knowledge of AI, machine learning, cloud platforms, and data governance
- Proven track record leading transformation programs in complex environments
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
