My client is an international legal and regulatory services firm, specialising in the investment funds industry. With offices across several key financial centres, the firm has been operating for a number of years and has established a strong presence in Luxembourg, serving a wide range of asset managers and fund promoters.

The Luxembourg office, composed of a close-knit team, offers a close-knit and supportive work environment that combines technical excellence with a strong emphasis on integrity, respect, and individual growth. While closely connected to the firm's global network, the local team operates with a high degree of autonomy and values initiative, accountability, and client proximity.

In response to steady business growth and an expanding client portfolio, the firm is currently looking to hire a Senior Fund Lawyer to strengthen its legal team in Luxembourg. This is a newly created position that reflects the firm's long-term strategic development in the local market.

Your Responsibilities | Legal – Regulatory – Lawyer – Law – Attorney

• You will advise clients on legal and regulatory matters related to UCITS, AIFs and other fund structures.
• Responsibilities include drafting, reviewing and updating fund documentation, including offering documents, management agreements, depositary and distribution agreements
• You will be coordinating regulatory filings with the CSSF and liaising with local and international authorities when required.
• It will be asking you to support cross-border fund registrations and ongoing compliance matters.
• Monitoring legal developments and contributing to internal knowledge sharing will be part of the expectations.

Profile and Career Path | Legal – Regulatory – Lawyer – Law – Attorney

• You have at least 5 years of experience in investment funds law, gained in a Luxembourg law firm. This facilitates your smooth integration into the position.
• You have a strong command of the legal and regulatory frameworks applicable to both UCITS and AIFs.
• You are fluent in both French and English, which is essential for communication internally, with clients, and with third parties. Any additional language is a plus.
• You are comfortable working across a variety of fund structures and legal issues.
• To be efficient in this position, excellent drafting skills and strong attention to detail are mandatory.
• While you are a team player, you are also autonomous, well-organised, and proactive in managing your workload.
