LUXUAV is an innovative technology company headquartered in Luxembourg. We specialize in the design, development, and manufacturing of advanced Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). Our modular systems are tested in real-world conditions and specifically tailored for both commercial and security applications.

Job Title: Sales Manager

The Sales Manager oversees all commercial activities related to the promotion, negotiation, and sale of the company's UAV systems and related services. The role is responsible for developing market presence, building sustainable customer relationships, and driving revenue growth while ensuring compliance with export-control, aviation, and security regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute the annual sales plan aligned with company objectives.
  • Identify and prioritise target sectors (e.g., defence).
  • Conduct competitor and market analysis to guide positioning and pricing.
  • Forecast sales volumes, margins, and pipeline metrics.

Business Development & Customer Acquisition

  • Generate new business leads across EU and international markets.
  • Build relationships with government agencies, integrators, distributors, UAV operators, and enterprise clients.
  • Present technical capabilities, performance data, and ROI arguments to non-technical and technical stakeholders.
  • Prepare tailored proposals, quotations, and commercial offers.

Deal Management & Negotiation

  • Lead negotiations on pricing, terms, delivery schedules, and service levels.
  • Coordinate with Legal on contract drafting, NDAs, export control (e.g., dual-use regulations, licences), and risk checks.
  • Ensure all sales activities respect national security requirements and customer compliance obligations.

Collaboration with Internal Teams

  • Work closely with R&D to understand product roadmap and ensure customer feedback informs development.
  • Coordinate with Production, Supply Chain, and Quality to ensure feasibility of delivery timelines and technical requirements.

Account Management & After-Sales

  • Maintain long-term strategic accounts and manage key stakeholder relationships.
  • Support onboarding, product demonstrations, and training related to UAV systems.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling maintenance, spares, upgrades, and service contracts.

Reporting & Performance Management

  • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline updates, and forecasting reports.
  • Provide regular reporting to senior management on progress, risks, and opportunities.
  • Track revenue, margins, conversion rates, and other performance KPIs.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of B2B or government sales experience in high-tech, aerospace, defence, or UAV/robotics industries.
  • Proven track record of closing complex, technical, and high-value deals.
  • Experience selling into regulated environments and familiarity with export-control frameworks (EU Dual-Use Regulation, national licensing).
  • Strong financial and analytical skills for pricing and margin management.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation ability.
  • Technical aptitude and ability to understand UAV specifications and integration requirements.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with government and enterprise clients.
  • Commercial discipline: pipeline management, forecasting, and structured reporting.
  • Resilience and a methodical, traditional approach to completing the full sales cycle.
  • Integrity, discretion, and adherence to security and compliance protocols.
  • Fluent in English.
  • National from a NATO member country or one of the following NATO Indo-Pacific partners: Australia, Japan, South Korea, New Zealand or Ukraine.
