ING Solutions Investment Management (‘ISIM’) is looking for a Jr. Portfolio Oversight Officer to support the current and planned developments of its activities in Luxembourg.
Your working environment
ISIM is a subsidiary of ING Luxembourg. ISIM benefits from the status of a “Super ManCo” as it has the licenses to manage both UCITS and Alternative Investment Fund (AIF).
ISIM oversees Investment Funds (mainly UCITS) distributed by ING Group entities.
Launched in 2014, ISIM is the ManCo of ING Group and is pursuing its development as a key tool for Investment Fund solutions within ING Group.
ISIM is looking for a Portfolio Oversight Officer to reinforce its team in the context of the development of its activity.
Your Mission:
As a Jr. Portfolio Oversight Officer, you will actively contribute to the roles and responsibilities of the Jr. Portfolio Management (PM) function and manage day to day requests from different counterparties.
In collaboration with the Portfolio Oversight team, you may perform the following tasks:
Investment Manager oversight
- Organise the oversight on the Investment Managers of our funds. Those Investment Managers can either be internal or external;
- Collaborate in the review and analysis of the Key Performance/Risk Indicators of delegates;
- Attend monthly meetings with delegates (investment managers, fund administrators) as needed.
- Fund Performance reporting/sales report/data management
- Prepare reports to the Senior Mgt/Board on performances of the UCITS/AIFs managed by ISIM;
- Perform regular analysis on the performances of ISIM funds compared to peers, markets, etc.
- Maintain processes and Policies up-to-date
- Actively collaborate within the Product Approval Process (PAP);
- Establish and/or maintain processes up-to-date;
- Establish and/or maintain policies.
- ESG - Sustainability
- Within the structure of the ManCo, the PM function is the expertise center for ESG. In your function you should be able to answer all related ESG questions.
- Follow up the evolution of ESG requirements and related market practice;
- Actively contribute in the strategic switch towards more sustainability;
- Actively contribute in filing and maintaining ESG-labels for our funds.
Change Management
- Actively participate and support in any projects linked to the ManCo for which the support of the Portfolio Oversight function is required.
Given the relative small size of the team, the Portfolio Oversight Officer may also have to ensure support/backup with regard to various tasks of the ManCo whenever needed.
**Skills**:
- Strong analytical skills
- Fluency in French and English, knowledge of another languages being an asset
- Strong knowledge of the fund industry and portfolio management (‘multi-asset’)
- Prior experience with alternative funds being considered as an asset
- Excellent organisation skills
- Rigorous and good attention to details
- Sense of responsibility, pro-activity and autonomy
- Team player with good communication skills (both oral and written)
- Knowledge of Bloomberg and different portfolio management and risk tools (Temenos AAA, Aladdin, ) are considered as assets
- MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
