We are looking for an experienced, motivated, enthusiastic and service orientated HR Professional to join our team in Luxembourg on a 12-month fixed term basis. In this role you will interact daily with the broader global HR team. Your experience in Talent and Development will enable you to provide support on the implementation of our talent agenda. Your broad experience with Luxembourg labor law and HR background will enable you to act as a partner to your dedicated client group and you will leverage internal resources where necessary.
Please note this is a 12-month Fixed term contract to cover a maternity leave in the team.
Key Responsibilities will Include:
- Supporting management in the effective implementation of the Firm’s performance management program, annual compensation cycle, promotion program to ensure decisions support the Firm’s talent strategies.
- Proactively managing complex Employee Relations issues such as disciplinary actions, grievances, long term sicknesses, etc.
- Supporting the development of our talents through the effective deployment of the Talent and Development agenda and support proactively interventions as planned.
- Ensuring regulatory reporting is delivered accurately and timely, as per local requirements.
- Executing HR strategies with designated client groups in support of line of business & office goals.
- Enhancing department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for ensuring effective HR delivery, through ongoing engagement with HR colleagues in specialist groups (Employee relations, HR Direct, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, and Benefits).
- Providing local advice and guidance on HR policies and procedures.
- Developing human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information; recommending courses of action.
- Ensuring compliance with local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Solid background in an HRBP or Generalist role
- Knowledge of the Luxembourg employment legislation
- Knowledge of the Luxembourg Collective Bargaining Agreement for banks is a plus.
- Experience of executing Talent Management strategies.
- Exceptional relationship management and interpersonal skills
- Self-Starter, with the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong financial and business acumen
- Experience developing, building and maintaining strong business partnerships
- Proven ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization, particularly senior management
- Exceptional leadership, communication, organizational and change management skills, required
- Demonstrated ability to develop creative and innovative HR solutions to business issues
- Comprehensive knowledge of strategic planning, organizational effectiveness, talent development, succession planning and leadership effectiveness
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality regarding employee information.
