As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing the organization's daily cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity to meet operational needs.

**What you will be working on**:

- Debt Collection & Recovery
- Follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely collection of payments.
- Monitor overdue accounts and take appropriate actions to minimize bad debts.
- Maintain accurate records of payment terms, and risk exposure.
- Identify high-risk accounts and escalate potential credit issues to management.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients while ensuring adherence to credit policies.
- Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare and maintain reports on collection status, aging analysis, and bad debt provisions.
- Ensure compliance with company credit policies, financial regulations, and legal requirements.
- Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve credit control processes and enhance collection efficiency.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.

Act as a backup to the Treasury Officer for key tasks to ensure continuity of service.

**What we look for**:
We’re seeking a highly analytical and proactive professional with a passion for financial management and business partnering. To succeed in this role, you should have:

- A degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar position.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, credit practices, and collection regulations.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Systems, especially MS Excel.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information effectively.
- A strategic and analytical mindset, with a solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in French or other languages is a plus.
