**Legal Director (AIFs) - Executive Position - Luxembourg**

We are looking for an experienced **Legal Director** to join a rapidly growing investment firm specializing in **active ownership strategies** across Continental Europe and Scandinavia. This executive role is a unique opportunity to lead legal and regulatory matters in a dynamic financial environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Provide expert legal counsel on **Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs)**, from launch to liquidation.

Advise on **Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs)**, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.

Engage with **regulatory authorities** and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Draft and review key **legal documents** (Limited Partnership Agreements, Side Letters, Subscription Agreements, etc.).

Ensure full **AML/CFT compliance** and oversee legal risk management.

Negotiate and finalize agreements related to AIFM, administration, and depositary services.

Oversee **corporate law matters**, including the formation and liquidation of legal entities (SCS, S.à r.l.).

Stay updated on evolving regulations to maintain compliance and best practices.

**Profile**:
**Law degree** and admission to the bar in **Luxembourg, Germany, or another relevant jurisdiction**.

**7+ years of experience** in financial services law, corporate law, and investment funds.

Strong knowledge of **Luxembourg corporate structures, AIFM regulations, and AML/CFT requirements**.

Excellent **negotiation, leadership, and communication skills**.

Fluency in **English and German** (additional languages are a plus).
