**JOB BRIEF**
Weerts Group is looking to build and complement its Finance team with an experienced and self-starting **Finance Officer**, mainly to assist in managing the different workstreams the group has in its banking and financing relations essentially in context of its growing pan-European activities logistics real estate.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
In this position you will work very closely with the rest of the Finance team members. You support and give input where necessary. Taking the initiative is highly valued. Depending on your skills, experience and commitment, you can give your own interpretation of your tasks in accordance with the Group’s needs.
As a **finance officer** you would be required to:
- Manage KYC and account opening processes, for the different banking relations in the different geographies
- Answer to information requests from banking and financing relations
- Ensure accurate record keeping and good documentation management
- Assist in the enhancement of the monitoring and preparation of the reporting on the different debt liabilities, their financial covenants and the compliance therewith
- Assist in developing processes and best practice and implement improvements where necessary or possible
- Generally, provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the finance department’s role and responsibilities
**EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED - YOUR PROFILE**
- 5 to 15 years of experience in banking and/or finance administration, or closely related activities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)
- Understanding of finance & cash flow principles
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, French and/or Dutch (German is a plus)
- Positive attitude, integrity & honesty, team player
