**About the Role**:
For our Ferrero Headquarters in Luxembourg, we are looking for a **Global Portfolio Channel Manager**, a critical role for delivering Ferrero’s ambitious portfolio optimization objectives. In your role you will be** defining & coordinating the development, execution & maintenance of product portfolio guidelines by channel and by category, **leveraging on category development guidelines with a global outlook. This position reports to the Global Execution Excellence Manager, within the global Sales Business Development function.
You will strongly collaborate with Global Brand teams, Global Category Management, Global Packaging, Area Marketing, & Local Trade Marketing as well as Global Operations, Quality & Finance to effectively perform this critical change management role.
**Main Responsibilities**:
As a Global Channel Portfolio Manager, you will be r**esponsible for the global portfolio development and maintenance **on specific channels.
- You will **define the Group channel portfolio strategy & drive its deployment**. Objective to ensure a lean, yet effective range to maximize brand channel distribution. Key focus on key disruptive channels - for example, role channel scope could feature focus on Club, Discount, Out of Home channel.
- You will also **co-drive the Sales Business Development function's contribution towards the Group’s portfolio governance** - provide the commercial feedback on CU/TU portfolio briefs based on commercial success factors and KPIs. You will identify governance improvement opportunities and will be performing longtail complexity analysis and synergy tracking.
- In collaboration with the Global Category Management team and Central Marketing, you will **input and ensure a channel centric portfolio since day 1 for the core Group innovation,** to guarantee global catalogue coherence with trade channel strategies, isolate channel white spots & identify break through solutions.
- You will be accountable for maintenance of Global digital product catalogue with focus on CU/TU portfolio channel architecture
- Hand in hand with the Global Marketing and the Global Category Management teams, you will be co-driving the **development of a robust category / channel portfolio and innovation pipeline **to ensure best fit channel portfolio for Group NPDs.
- You will **operate cross functionally with Central Marketing, Finance and Operations **to guarantee the appropriate focus on attention on channel portfolio requirements, and will develop close collaboration with local Business Units (i.e., Trade Marketing) to **build complete market perspective**.
**Who we are looking for**:
**Profile**
- Relevant academic background (Bachelors, Masters, MBA or related);
- At least 8 - 10 years of experience in Brand Marketing, Category Management, Shopper Marketing, Innovation, Portfolio Channel Management, Sales Operations or Key Account Management;
- Previous experience in FMCG, CPG or related; Experience in Sweet Packaged Food is a plus;
- Confident and assured presenter to senior audience
- Strategic global mindset;
- Strong influencing & Stakeholder Management skills;
- Results oriented;
- Strong ownership and ability to create a concept and follow up until deployment;
- Ability to work and excel in a matrix organization.
**IT**
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Powerpoint and Excel.
- SAP is a plus
**Language**
- Fluency in English is mandatory
- Any additional language is a plus.
