Join us as a Designated Worker Health and Safety on part time basis

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing Health & Safety Induction Training to new employees.
- Completing the Induction Checklist for new starts and long term temporary employees including ensuring each new employee (or when an employee has had a significant role change) has had a display screen assessment completed.
- Keeping and maintaining the Health & Safety Policy manual and updating with any new procedures when advised by the external consultants and Health & Safety manager for Europe, including but not limited to changes in legislation, training requirements, and updates as a result of Health & Safety Inspections.
- Coordinating the Accident Investigation and Reporting Procedure, including submitting reports on work accidents as required by local authorities
- Coordinating the Risk Assessment Programme and Health & Safety Inspection Programme as directed by the External Health & Safety Contractor and Health & Safety Manager. Ensuring any actions arising from the Health & Safety Audits are addressed as instructed.
- Recording any hazardous substances and materials and passing on the recordings to the Safety Consultant for assessment
- Liaising with the Health & Safety Executive, the Company’s Insurers and other external bodies

Qualifications:

- Designated Worker training certificate that follows the two following aspects, the Luxembourgish legislation on occupational health and safety and the general aspects of occupational health and safety
- You should be highly team oriented, committed to operating in the best interests of the company and the team and passionate about what you do
