Missions:
- Assist the employer in risk analysis and risk management
- Conduct regular workplace inspections
- Identify training needs of staff on safety
- Analyze workplace accidents and propose preventive measures
- Assess demands from the UL entities in terms of improving working conditions
- Develop risk management procedures and instructions for projects in collaboration with the team.
- Coordinate legal obligations related to specific safety risks
- Carry out the tasks assigned to the designated worker
**Your profile...**:
- Master degree in chemistry, biology or engineering. Any experience in the field of safety will be considered as a strong asset
- Between 2 and 5 years of professional experience
- Languages: Fluent in French or German and level B1 in English
- Demonstrated a strong interest for the Safety at work
- Demonstrated ability to communicate properly and establish trusted relationships with internal stakeholders
- Good knowledge of Luxembourgish safety workplace legislation
- A strong interest in the treatment of Authorizations will be appreciated
- Analytical skills leading to concrete solutions
- As the job requires presence in research laboratories, the job holder is expected to attend training courses with specialization in safety areas such as biosafety, laser safety, ionizing radiation, etc.
- The applicant must reside within one hour's drive of Luxembourg City, because of a possible on call duty
