Job Title: BEFM Valuation and Fund Oversight Analyst

**Job Description**:
Seeking an Analyst for BEFM Valuation and Fund Oversight team (BEFM V&FO). BEFM V&FO is responsible for the valuation of assets, oversight of the Central Administrations (incl. Fund Accounting) and any other tax and finance matters related to AIFs and SMA under BEFM management.

**Responsibilities**:
In this role, the Analyst will be an integral member of the BEFM V&FO team in Luxembourg focusing on valuation and NAV cycle of funds under BEFM management. The focus of the team is to review the valuation material produced by the relevant Blackstone valuation teams and closely monitor the NAVs prepared by the Central Administrations. The Analyst will have the opportunity to participate in an array of projects and will be expected to assume a key role on the team, with a focus on credit funds.

Key responsibilities will include, amongst others:

- Producing investment valuation and NAV analysis at fund level and presentations for BEFM’s management team, including:

- Working with the valuation teams on credit assets valuation
- Coordinating with the Central Administrations and the global fund finance teams on NAV reviews
- Overseeing the completion of quarterly, semi-annual and audited annual reports, including financial footnotes
- Analyzing complex financial information to provide meaningful, accurate, and timely valuation reporting to the BEFM VF&O team for decision making purposes
- Coordinating with both internal and external teams to deliver efficient reporting and processes to the BEFM VF&O team
- Monitore the central administration from an accounting and valuation view point
- Executing ad hoc projects and generate monthly and quarterly reporting for management team and board
- Participating in the new fund onboardings
- Managing responsibilities and tasks assigned to the CoE team in India
- Proposing enhancements and improvements to the BEFM V&FO valuations and reporting processes, procedures, CoE resources, and use of technology

Qualifications and Experience:
Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who work well in a team-driven working group, are highly motivated, intelligent, have sound judgment and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavours.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or similar discipline (CFA and/or CAIA a plus)
- 1-3 years of relevant financial services industry experience (Credit, Banking, Investment Management, Audit/Advisory)
- Strong technical accounting skills, IFRS knowledge required
- Familiarity with a wide range of valuation approaches (e.g. Income, Market)
- Knowledge of the local requirements in relation to UCI Part II & SICAV funds is a plus
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Analytical and quantitative skills, highly organized
- Team player with resourceful mindset and efficiency-driven
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to produce creative, compelling, detailed reporting materials
- Ability to multi-task and execute a wide range of assignments, strong time management skills, and attention to detail
