Company Overview

Blackstone Europe Fund Management S.à r.l. (BEFM) is a Luxembourg private limited liability company authorized by the
_Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier_ (CSSF) as an alternative investment fund manager (AIFM) in accordance with the Law of 12 July 2013 on alternative investment fund managers, as amended.

BEFM manages alternative investment funds (AIFs) in a variety of asset classes including private equity, real estate, credit and hedge fund solutions. BEFM also is also authorized to manage separately managed accounts (SMAs) with a combination of these asset classes.

**Job Description**:
Seeking an Analyst for the BEFM Valuation team (BEFM Valuation), which will primarily be responsible for the valuation of investments and the review of the NAV of the AIFs under BEFM management.

**Responsibilities**:
In this role, the Analyst will be an integral member of BEFM Valuation in Luxembourg focusing on the review of the valuation material produced by the relevant Blackstone valuation teams and of the NAVs prepared by the Central Administrations. The Analyst will have the opportunity to participate in an array of projects and will be expected to assume a key role within the team, with a focus on illiquid strategies.

Key responsibilities will include, amongst others:

- Valuation: responsible for the review of valuation of investments portfolio before NAV release
- Reviewing the investment committee memo in the context of the first-time valuation
- Reviewing the third party valuation reports
- Reviewing the internal valuation material
- Produce investment valuation analysis at fund level and presentations to BEFM’s management team
- Lead discussions with Blackstone valuation teams
- Execute ad hoc projects and generate monthly and quarterly reporting for management team and Boards
- Net asset value: responsible for the oversight of the calculation of the NAV of the AIFs managed
- Reviewing the NAV, producing a NAV analytical review for management and performing specific NAV controls
- Reconciling investments portfolio with NAV
- Review NAV key indicators at NAV frequency
- Execute ad hoc projects and generate monthly and quarterly reporting for management team and Boards
- Participate to the new fund onboardings
- Participate to the improvement of the valuations and NAV oversight processes and procedures as well as the enhancement of technology use and collaboration with the offshore resources
- Maintain and develop a strong collaboration with other teams
- Manage responsibilities and tasks assigned to the offshore consultants
- Develop collaboration with the Global Finance and Valuation teams to solve problems, achieve results and develop best practices

Qualifications & Skills

Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who work well in a team, are highly motivated, with a sound judgment and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or similar discipline (CFA and/or CAIA a plus)
- 1-3 years of relevant financial services industry experience (e.g. Private Equity, Real Estate, Banking, Investment Management, Audit/Advisory)
- Strong technical accounting skills
- Familiarity with a wide range of valuation approaches (e.g. Income, Market)
- Analytical and quantitative skills, highly organized
- Team player with resourceful mindset and efficiency-driven
- Ability to produce creative, compelling, detailed reporting materials
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint required
- Strong appetite to use of technology
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and execute a
