Financial Operations Manager
Description:
We are seeking a skilled Financial Operations Manager to lead our administrative activities and ensure the preparation of periodic financial reports and annual consolidated financial statements. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of tax and customs regulations, as well as familiarity with general accounting and industry software.
Responsibilities:
- Pursue the objectives of the Administration and Accounting Manager and supervise the administrative activities within their office in accordance with instructions received from the CFO.
- Coordinate all administrative and accounting activities necessary for the preparation of periodic financial reports and annual consolidated financial statements.
- Evaluate the legitimacy of incoming invoices and guarantee their compliance with contractual and payment terms and conditions.
- Ensure the correct administrative management of all subsidiaries, associates, and consortiums managed, coordinating this activity with their Administration & Finance Manager.
- Oversee tax-related activities, including VAT, income taxes, and withholding taxes, and prepare and submit annual tax returns.
- Provide accurate and timely balances of general accounting items for report preparation.
- Aggregating and summarizing accounting data for the preparation of annual and consolidated financial statements, assessing their reliability and completeness, and reconciling with the Project Control Department.
- Participate in the preparation of financial statements and define estimated closing data, ensuring timely and accurate recording of data.
Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant or Degree in Business and Economics
- Excellent knowledge of tax and customs regulations and civil law
- Familiarity with general accounting and industry software
- Excellent knowledge of English, preferably with knowledge of other languages (French, Spanish)
- Skills in preparing financial statements
- Ability to prepare regular reports on the economic and financial progress of the company
- Good knowledge of MS Office suite
