Job Description:

At RTL Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Officer to join our team. As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll-related tasks, including administration, payment of salaries, social security contributions, and taxes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure payroll-related tasks are completed accurately and on time
  • Participate in the follow-up of early retirement dossiers
  • Ensure the administration and payment of supplementary pensions
  • Participate in the implementation of prevailing labor, social security, and fiscal laws
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR-administration related processes
  • Participate in the preparation and follow-up of the personnel budget
  • Provide personnel cost-related elements for accounting closings (accruals, accounts reconciliations, provisions...)
  • Liaise with external auditors as appropriate, for the purpose of providing optimal audit coverage to the HR Services department
  • Participate in the customization of HRIS products
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (or similar) and solid professional experience in payroll administration
  • Strong basis of accounting (payroll accounting, provisions, budget, cost accounting...)
  • Knowledge of HR Information Systems (Educos and SuccessFactors) is an asset
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Fluent in French and English (both written and spoken) is required, knowledge of German and/or Luxembourgish is an asset
  • Enjoy working in a team and taking on responsibilities
  • Accurate and methodic, with ability to work simultaneously on multiple tasks with respect to deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal & written)
