Occupational Health and Safety Specialist

The primary objective of this role is to assess and implement measures to prevent occupational health and safety incidents. This includes conducting audits, inspections, and investigations to identify areas for improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement occupational health and safety policies and procedures
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards
- Investigate incidents and develop recommendations for improvement
- Provide training and guidance to employees on occupational health and safety best practices
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement risk management strategies
- Monitor and analyze safety trends and data to inform decision-making
Requirements:
- Masters degree in a relevant field (e.g., occupational health and safety, industrial hygiene)
- Minimum 5-7 years' experience in occupational health and safety or a related field
- Strong knowledge of safety management principles and ISO 45001 standard
- Fluency in English and French, with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Designated worker certificate Level E up to date is considered an advantage
- Inquisitive and a good listener, maintain impartiality, able to handle confidential matters
Working Conditions:
- Position based in Luxembourg
- Travel required
- A Certificate of good conduct will be required in case of positive selection
