Service Desk Support Specialist

As a Service Desk Consultant, you will be the first point of contact for users seeking technical support. Your mission is to provide timely and effective assistance, ensuring minimal disruption to their work.
The responsibilities include logging, categorizing, prioritizing, diagnosing, resolving, closing, and escalating incidents. You will have incident ownership and communication throughout the lifecycle of the incident, handling both in-policy and out-of-policy service requests. Additionally, you will intervene onsite at the user location or temporary location and execute IMACD tasks. Furthermore, you will raise requests for authorisation of service requests.
A successful candidate should be able to speak and write fluently in English and French, with experience working in a similar position for at least 2 years. Familiarity with ticketing tools and CMDB tools is also essential. Experience with MS Office Suite and Microsoft OS (Windows 7 and 10) is required, as well as knowledge of mobile devices and mobile phone services. An understanding of networking and networking protocols is also necessary. The ideal candidate should be experienced in troubleshooting PCs/Laptops/Tablets, VPN, etc., possess good problem-solving skills, and be flexible and stress resilient. As a team player who likes to work in an international environment, you should also be customer-focused and attentive to details.
