Airport Planning and Development Professional
The Airport Master Planner plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of our airport, ensuring it remains a hub for safe, efficient, and sustainable air transport.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing and maintaining the master plan, outlining medium to long-term development goals for the airport's infrastructure and operations.
Conducting feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to assess the viability of proposed projects and initiatives.
Collaborating with various departments, including engineering and operations, to ensure all projects align with the overall airport master plan.
Establishing and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders to foster a collaborative environment.
Managing and controlling master plan-related projects, including cost control measures.
Ensuring compliance with national regulations and EU/EASA standards for all airport development projects.
Providing support for air traffic forecasting and related tasks.
Preparing reports on the progress of airport development activities for senior management and the board of directors.
Communicating the airport's development plans and initiatives to stakeholders.
Identifying emerging trends and best practices in airport development and incorporating them into the master plan.
Serving as the primary point of contact for airport master planning matters, reporting directly to the CEO.
Additionally, this role involves participating in inclusion initiatives, such as supporting people with invisible disabilities, integrating new employees, and promoting responsible behavior through waste sorting and energy-saving practices.
The ideal candidate will possess:
A postgraduate degree (Master) or equivalent experience in a similar function.
No less than 7 years of relevant work experience in a similar capacity.
Knowledge of EASA/IATA Aviation regulatory frameworks.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and proficiency in English and French are mandatory. Knowledge of German/Luxembourgish is an asset. This role requires strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, significant project management and change management experience, a commitment to legal and ethical standards, and recognised qualifications as an internal auditor in airport/airline operations.
