Vauban, Ecole et Lycée français de Luxembourg, est un établissement de droit privé, homologué Education nationale française et partenaire dans le réseau AEFE.

Pour l'année scolaire 2025-2026, Vauban comptera plus de 2600 élèves répartis dans 112 classes de la Petite Section de maternelle à la classe de Terminale.

A visée internationale, Vauban jouit tant à Luxembourg que dans le réseau AEFE d’une excellente réputation, attestée notamment par ses résultats aux examens et par la qualité de l’orientation de ses élèves après le baccalauréat.

Pour la rentrée 2025-2026, Vauban recherche:

- **Des Professeur(s) d’histoire-géographie (H/F) pour la section internationale britannique en contrat local - Candidatures spontanées pour des postes susceptibles d’être vacants au 1er septembre 2025**

**Activités**:

- Enseigner l’histoire-géographie en anglais en fonction des standards anglophones.
- Concevoir et mettre en œuvre des situations d’apprentissage ou d’enseignement dans un cadre pédagogique.
- Transmettre des connaissances disciplinaires prévues par les programmes et référentiels français et britanniques.
- Faire acquérir des compétences incluant des capacités, des attitudes et des savoir-faire dans la matière enseignée.
- Concevoir et mettre en œuvre des modalités d’évaluation des acquis des élèves.
- Assurer un suivi personnalisé des élèves en lien avec les familles, et participer à leur projet d’orientation.
- Contribuer au rayonnement de la section internationale britannique, au fonctionnement de l’établissement et au travail d’équipe.
- Être force de proposition et participer activement aux projets de l’établissement.
- Exercer éventuellement des fonctions spécifiques (professeur principal, coordonnateur de discipline, aide aux devoirs, école ouverte, activités extrascolaires ).

**Compétences**:

- Maîtriser les savoirs disciplinaires et leur didactique, et savoir mettre en œuvre les adaptations spécifiques aux sections internationales britanniques.
- Construire, mettre en œuvre et animer des situations d'enseignement et d'apprentissage prenant en compte la diversité des élèves.
- Organiser et assurer un mode de fonctionnement du groupe favorisant l'apprentissage et la socialisation des élèves.
- Évaluer les progrès et les acquisitions des élèves.
- Valider les compétences dans le cadre du contrôle en cours de formation.

**Savoir-faire et savoir-être**:

- Capacité d’adaptation à un environnement exigeant et innovant.
- Capacité à assurer un enseignement adapté à des élèves très divers.
- Capacité à travailler de manière transversale et pluridisciplinaire.
- Capacité à travailler en équipe.

**Prérequis**:

- Le diplôme requis pour la fonction est un Master en Histoire / Géographie, un Master en enseignement en anglais ou un diplôme équivalent ainsi qu’un diplôme qualifiant d’enseignant (Capes, Cafep, Agrégation, PGCE, IPGCE, PGDE, QTS, AESS, autres).
- Une expérience significative en enseignement au secondaire est indispensable.
- Avoir réalisé une partie de sa scolarité et/ou une expérience professionnelle à l’international est particulièrement apprécié.
- Un **excellent niveau de langue en anglais** est requis (un niveau natif est un atout). Posséder une **certification DNL en anglais et/ou avoir enseigné en section internationale britannique est très apprécié**. En français, un niveau B2 minimum est souhaité.
- Connaître les modalités d’examen du DNBI et du BFI.
- Connaître les méthodes didactiques et méthodologiques spécifiques aux SIB.
- Avoir des connaissances en psychologie de l’enfance et de l’adolescence.
- Savoir travailler en équipe / en réseau.
