Context
The Management Company of a prestigious French-English group domiciled in Luxembourg is recruiting an Investment Compliance Analyst to join its Permanent Risk Management Function and assist in its daily tasks. The Management Company is managing UCITS, and AIFs investing in liquid and illiquid assets (Private Equity, Private Debt, Private Equity Fund of Funds).
Your Tasks
The Investment Compliance Analyst will first assist the team in:
- Managing the investment compliance monitoring with applicable investment policies, laws and regulations, including ESG restrictions, for all the funds managed by the Management Company,
- Improving or Implementing investment compliance solutions,
- Reviewing and analysing funds prospectuses limits including SFDR pre-contractual disclosure,
- Support the Management Company for any question on Investment Compliance requirements and market practices,
- Perform a regulatory watch and propose analysis of new laws and regulations applicable to fund managed by the Management Company,
- Update and maintain the Investment Compliance policy of the Management Company,
- Notify to and follow up with the Investment Manager when a breach with investment guidelines occurs,
- In case of active breach, calculate the financial impact, prepare the notification form to the CSSF in line with Circular CSSF 02/77 and ensure the follow-up with the portfolio managers.
The Investment Compliance Analyst will in second time assist the team in:
- Monitoring and analysing the funds risks and investments risks.
- Producing risk and performance indicators.
- Monitoring alternative investments’ valuations.
- Improving existing risk management framework.
- Producing reports for the Portfolio Managers, the Board of Directors of the funds and Management Company, the investors and the CSSF.
The Investment Compliance Analyst will have to collaborate with other departments of the Management Company, and with external and internal service providers (auditors, depositary bank, fund administrators, delegated portfolio managers ).
Your Profile
Education: master’s degree with a specialisation in Risk Management, mathematics, or Financial Market.
Experience: a previous experience of 4-6 years in an Investment Compliance team in a Management Company or the fund industry.
Technical skills: good knowledge of Excel and Access with good IT coding skills (VBA). Appetite for and knowledge in sustainability and ESG risks is an asset. Fluent in French and English.
Soft skills: strong ability to learn, excellent analytical and synthesis skills, good ability to collaborate and communicate, proactive.
