**Client Description**:
We currently recruit, for one of our clients, a key international banking institution, a **_Chief Executive/Deputy Chief Executive - KYC Officer. _**

This is a temporary contract with a mission of up to 2 months.

**Responsibilities**:
**_ Purpose:_**

At a level commensurate with experience, you will contribute as part of the “Know-Your-Customer” (KYC) team to the tax compliance risk assessment of all equity and guarantee operations in line with the Group Policy towards weakly regulated, non-transparent and non-cooperative jurisdictions and tax good governance.

Operating network:_**

Working in the KYC team as part of the Front Office and reporting directly to the Head of Unit, you will contribute to the achievement of the team’s objectives by notably being a point of contact across the institution and external counterparts in relation to preliminary tax risk assessment matters. The job requires a close interface with colleagues both in Front Office and in other Divisions within the organisation, including Compliance.

As a **_Chief Executive/Deputy Chief Executive - KYC Officer, _**you will:

- Carries out preliminary tax compliance risk assessments on counterparties including adverse tax media checks (mainly through internet searches as well as dedicated tools and databases)
- Ensures the timely and accurate input in the relevant corporate information system of the applicable information/documentation on behalf of the Front Office for KYC and tax compliance purposes
- Coordinates all operational aspects related to the tax risk assessment process

**_ Qualifications:_**
- University degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance or Law (preferably at postgraduate level) with a combination of the above being an additional asset
- At least five (5) years professional experience in a relevant domain, especially in the banking/finance, investment and asset management industry
- Prior proven experience in and solid understanding of regulatory requirements with relation to tax integrity risks applied at investment firms, asset managers, or financial institutions
- Proven experience in external coordination with clients and managing flows of KYC and related documentation
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English. Knowledge of other EU languages would be considered an advantage.
