- Bianca Romao-Willis- RecruiterOur client is a trusted boutique real estate firm. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a **Compliance Officer** to join their asset management team in Luxembourg on a permanent basis.

Working with top institutional investors alongside with a strong presence across Europe, the **Compliance Officer **will take responsibility for the following duties:

- Ensuring thorough and consistent implementation and development of the compliance framework, aligning with local and international regulations.
- Preparing the compliance and AML internal reporting to the boards and the Executive Committee.
- Updating a compliance monitoring plan, assessing the effectiveness of the controls and issuing recommendations for enhancements whilst monitoring their implementation.
- Advising the business on regulatory changes and their impact on operations and participate in the implementation of changes.
- Maintaining and developing company policies and procedures.
- Oversight of delegates, including initial and ongoing due diligence.
- Developing and implementing the AML / CTF Framework
- Liaising with regulatory bodies (CSSF, AED, ) and ensuring timely and accurate reporting through direct communication.
- Supporting the regulatory registration and notification process regarding AIFs.

The **Compliance Officer **will meet the following criteria:

- 7+ years’ relevant experience in a compliance, regulatory role in an AIFM or an advisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of Luxembourg and EU regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages (e.g., French, German) are beneficial.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

This is an excellent opportunity for a **Compliance Officer / Compliance Professional **with a knowledge of real estate management looking to work with a range of clients in Germany and the US.
