TASK RESPONSIBILITIES:
**Perform the Storekeeper function**
**Manage the Cargolux and Customer Inventory in Luxembourg.**
- By placing incoming and returned parts into stock
- By ensuring that labelling and computer data is correctly updated and that packaging and storage conditions are in accordance with policy
- By ensuring timely, accurate data input
- By controlling shelf life of stored material
- By carrying out stock transfers as required and performing physical inventory and cycle counts as scheduled by Department management
- By reporting to Material Planning parts not in stock (NIS) or at low stock level
- By assisting the supervisor in tutoring new joiners
- By assisting during audits
**Prepare and issue parts to internal and external Customers**
- By Pulling and issuing material from stock in accordance with lists supplied
- By pulling and issuing material from stock on demand of the customer at the service area
- By being familiar with working in both Main Stockroom and P7 Stockroom
- By delivering parts on demand to the Mechanics at P7
**Undertake general Material Control duties**
- By controlling the requirement for main wheel support on Cargolux aircraft Fly Away Kits
- By performing Shipping and Receiving coverage when no Shipping / Receiving agent is on duty
- By working closely and maintaining good relationships with connected departments
- By maintaining the departmental vehicles in a clean and orderly state
- By maintaining the work area and its surroundings in a clean and orderly state
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:
- Secondary technical education, accomplished apprenticeship in a technical field or equivalent
- At least 3 year experience in a similar position
- Be customer focused and have a co-operative attitude
- Have good communication skills and able to work with a team
- Fluency in written and spoken English is required
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power point and Outlook)
- Have experience or at least an aptitude in forklift driving. Training will in any case be given and test passed
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Position based in Luxembourg
- Flexibility of working hours is required
- Hold a valid B class driving license. A C class license would be considered a distinct advantage
- A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection
