**About the role**

This is a great opportunity for you to acquire experience in all aspects of reinsurance risk management.

You would provide support for the Risk Management Function responsible for the Swiss Re Europe ("SRE") legal entity, as well as risk management support to the Europe, Middle East and Africa ("EMEA") region more broadly.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Monitor the Company's risk profile, risk exposures and mitigation actions, as well as material changes to any of these aspects.
- Contribute to the Own Risk and Solvency Assessment ("ORSA") process. This includes producing and being involved both in the quantitative and qualitative aspects feeding into the process.
- Support the evaluation and assessment of Solvency II calculations for SRE calculated using Swiss Re's Internal Model.
- Support the Internal Model Oversight of SRE, including assessing the appropriateness of the model for Swiss Re Europe's risk profile, the appropriateness of model changes and the review of model validation and vetting reports.
- Support the establishment and review of the standard formula calculation process and understand the drivers for the difference with the internal model calculation.
- Contribute to the Risk update reports presented to the SRE Management Committee, SRE Board and EMEA Management Team.
- Champion a culture of risk awareness among staff by questioning and engaging with them in their daily work.

**About You**

**You have**:

- A university degree or equivalent in Actuarial Science or Risk Management;
- 1 - 2 years of professional-level work experience dealing with insurance, risk or regulatory topics;
- Strong numerical skills;
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- Excellent communication skills, orally and written in English;
- Ability to assimilate and summarize issues clearly and concisely.
