As external Consultant your Key responsabilties:
- As a valued Senior Compliance Officer, you will receive direct supervision from our esteemed Compliance Team Leaders, ensuring mentorship and support.
- Shape the future of corporate governance by maintaining and developing policies, procedures, compliance templates, and tools that adhere to best market practices.
- Craft insightful compliance-related reports, drawing on your analytical prowess and critical thinking capabilities.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments, enabling clients to navigate challenges with confidence.
- Play a crucial role in due diligence and AML/CFT screening, safeguarding our clients' interests.
- Master the internal controls of clients' CMPs, showcasing your proficiency in operational excellence.
- Stay ahead of the curve by researching and drafting alerts on new regulatory developments, driving informed decision-making.
- Lead impactful projects that implement regulatory changes, impacting the investment fund business positively.
- Foster effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, solidifying the client reputation as a reliable partner in compliance matters.
- Collaborate and lead a team of Compliance Assistants, ensuring seamless work processes and excellence in service delivery.
- Empower Mebs' clients with your support in their day-to-day activities, demonstrating your expertise in compliance and AML/CFT matters.
- Embrace growth opportunities as you progress to potential Permanent Compliance Function roles for IFMs or RC ("Responsable du Contrôle") roles for UCIs.
Your Profile:
- Boast a successful degree in Business Law, Business Administration, Finance, or Economics, laying a solid foundation for your expertise.
- Possess 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Compliance and/or AML/CFT within the financial sector, showcasing your deep understanding of the industry.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the Luxembourg Funds Industry, traditional and alternative funds, and AML/CFT requirements, solidifying your proficiency in compliance matters.
- Translate technical requirements into actionable operational processes, reflecting your ability to drive tangible results.
- Exhibit fluency in English (additional languages like German, French, or other European languages are valued assets), facilitating global collaboration.
- Embody self-motivation, proactivity, and a structured work methodology, ensuring efficient and reliable performance.
- Showcase familiarity with name screening tools, enhancing your toolkit for effective compliance practices.
