ArcelorMittal Downstream Solutions (AMDS) primarily covers the downstream activities of ArcelorMittal in Europe. It provides distribution of long and flat products as well as value-added and customised steel solutions through further processing, to meet specific customer requirements in both the automotive and other industry sectors and oil and gas, throught its 9 business divisions present in more than 50 countries accross Europe, The Middle East, Asia, Africa and the Americas (Distribution Europe ; Steel Services Centres ; Construction ; Tubular Europe ; Industeel ; AM International ; AM Projects ; Recycling ; AM Powders).
- **Mission**:
Reporting to the AMDS Human Resources team, you will be in charge of the development of AMDS's internal and external communication strategy. As a HR Communication specialist, your main responsibilities will be to coordinate the realisation of all publications within the newly define EmVP. This include creating and updating communications materials, producing editorial content for our social media and developing employer brand.
- **Main accountabilities**:
- Ensure the EmVP is deployed consistently across the segment ;
- Provide guidance and hands-on support to local teams developing their own communication initiatives as per EmVP ;
- Define an internal communications plan by providing ideas, feedback, creating content, and identifying opportunities for network engagement and collaboration ;
- Embed EmVP narrative within the different communications content development.
- Keep the employees informed and engaged ;
- Develop and follow the annual communication plan for all employees including managers and MC members ;
- Ensure that AMDS build an image as a people driven company to the external world ;
- Create written and visual content on events and announcements both internally and externally ;
- Develop and share consistent, clear, and effective communications on initiatives and projects ;
- Implement social media strategy for employer branding ;
- Write and/or review articles received for the AMDS HR Newsletter ;
- Use social media to promote events as needed ;
- **Skills and qualifications**:
- Master Degree in Communications, Journalism, Economics or a comparable Degree or journalistic training.
- 3 to 5 years of experience as communication specialist//coordinator/officer.
- Experience in promoting an employer brand is an asset.
- Fluency in written and spoken in English;. Any other EU language is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Editing and proofreading skills.
