**HR Compliance Intern**

**HR Compliance Intern**

**Reports to People Services Compliance Manager**:
This position is part of the People Services Team, who are responsible for the full lifecycle of an employee from onboarding to offboarding. The purpose of this position is to support the delivery of operational compliance and best practice across People Services.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Monitor right to work / work permit expiry and take action to ensure the Group is compliant with its obligations at all times
- Support with the administration of sickness absence reporting for the Group
- Support with the administration and reporting required to ensure we are compliant with the Teleworking policy (Luxembourg)
- Provide administrative support to ensure Group compliance with financial regulatory requirements in relation to employment screening (SM&CR, JFSC, GFSC)
- Collate documentation required to support internal and external audits and thematic reviews, and act as a key point of contact for auditors as well as Risk and Compliance
- Ensure employee files are maintained in line with the company's Data Protection Policy and GDPR guidelines
- Escalate any compliance issues or concerns to the People Services Compliance Manager at the earliest opportunity
- Support the People Services Compliance Manager with compliance related research, projects and reporting as required
- Demonstrate high standards of accuracy, timeliness, customer service and professionalism
- Develop and maintain positive internal and external stakeholder relationships to ensure all parties are working efficiently and effectively

**HR Compliance Officer**:
**Skills, knowledge, expertise**:

- Experience working in a fast paced, high volume administrative role would be beneficial
- Previous HR compliance knowledge and experience would be beneficial
- Excellent computer literacy skills, particularly MS Excel
- Excellent attention to detail in the preparation of documentation and reports is essential
- Ability to learn new processes and procedures, whilst highlighting opportunities for improvement
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills together with the ability to develop good working relationships
- Proven ability to work effectively as a member of a team, with a positive and supportive attitude
- Proven ability to communicate, both verbally and in written English, in a clear and concise manner
- Basic / intermediate proficiency in French is desirable

We will provide the training, both in-house for relevant technical knowledge and also professional qualifications to enhance your professional development. You will need to be quick to learn new systems and great with people, as close working relationships between our colleagues and clients is at the heart of what we do.
