Senior Agent Material Acceptance

TASK RESPONSIBILITIES:
**Perform the Material Receiving and Acceptance functions**
**Receiving**
- By receiving incoming aircraft parts and other supplies delivered to Cargolux premises.
- By inspecting packages for signs of shipping damage.
- By opening and unpacking shipments.
- By controlling Part numbers, Serial numbers and quantity's in adherence to the shipper’s invoice and the Cargolux order.
- By raising a Receiving Discrepancy report and updating the master log as required.
- By entering the receiving data into the TRAX system.
**Acceptance**

- By inspecting incoming parts and components for their correct identity, completeness, condition and freedom from any apparent defect or malfunction and being in adherence to the shippers invoice and the Cargolux order.
- By rejecting defect parts and notifying Purchasing, Material Repairs or Engineering.
- By controlling Vendors / Suppliers / Manufacturers documents and Certifications for conformity to Cargolux requirements.
- By raising a Discrepancy report and updating the master log as and when required.
- By entering data into the TRAX system.
- By ensuring ordered and systematic filling of all certifications and receiving documents.
***Undertake general Material Control duties.**
- By maintaining filing records
- By maintaining the work area and its surroundings in a clean and orderly state
- By working closely and maintaining good relationships with connected departments
- By assisting as required in associated departments
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:
- Secondary technical education, accomplished apprenticeship in a technical field or equivalent
- Be customer focused and have a co-operative attitude
- Have good communication skills and able to work with a team
- Fluency in written and spoken English, French would be considered as a distinct advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power point and Outlook)
- Hold a valid B class driving license.
- Have experience or at least an aptitude in forklift driving. Training will in any case be given and test passed
- The Position Holder must achieve clearly defined tasks, goals and results
- Being responsible for the adherence to all internal procedures when performing his/her duty and must use best practice at all times
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Full-time position
- Position based in Luxembourg
- Flexibility of working hours is required
- A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection
