**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead the first line of defence compliance activities for Langham Hall clients
- Responsible for obtaining, reviewing, and maintaining AML documentation for new and existing clients, investors, counterparty;
- Monitor compliance with risk appetite and AML /CFT policies
- Be in a position to effective and efficiently present information and respond to questions from Investors /clients
- Participate in client calls and Lead discussions on AML /KYC matters
- Lead and supervise the first line of defence compliance team, including performance of annual evaluation, training and coaching activities
- Responsible for maintenance of AML related records and databases;
- Effective cooperation with the 2nd line of defence team and Client teams
- Solving problems proactively using technical expertise and common-sense.
- Monitor and review regulatory updates on AML laws, assessing its impact on the business
**Skills Knowledge and Expertise**
- 5 or more years of demonstrable experience within the compliance AML/ KYC
- A strong understanding of anti-money laundering laws, regulations, best practices
- Be self-motivated, adaptable and flexible in approach to the work.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work within a team to mentor, coach and carry out on-the-job training with more junior staff
- Ability to use initiative and work independently.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- This position is required to be performed in Luxembourg.
- Ability to plan effectively, with strong deadline orientation
