Test Development engineer - TDE - Job Description

To support our team located in Bascharage, Luxembourg we are currently looking for: Test Development Engineer - TDE

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Design of automated validation test systems, hardware and software.

Will be part of a multi-cultural, multi-disciplined validation team working on projects involving multiple locations.

Specific description:

- Utilize National Instruments PXI based hardware and software systems for tester development
- Manage the Validation Process activities during the product design cycle from product concept to production launch.
- Manage critical path timing issues to ensure on time test development completion.
- Responsible for requirements analysis.
- Analysis of test data and comparison to requirements.
- Be involved in continuous improvement and maintenance of the validation test equipment.

Essential requirements:

- University degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Bac +5 / Masters. Or, Technician with strong experience in test and validation of complex system (Software and Hardware).
- Familiarity with test equipment: i.e. DMM, ARB, Power Supply, oscilloscopes, generators, and etc.
- Proven ability to identify and solve complex engineering problems.
- Programming experience in C/C++, LabView, TestStand, and LabWindows. Microprocessor knowledge.
- Experienced in Excel VBA macro development.
- Experience with circuit design.
- Good communication skills are essential
- Fluency in English is required. German/French would be an advantage
