Hierarchical reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer

FUNCTION:
Compliance Officer at BNP Paribas, Luxembourg Branch

INTERACTIONS:
Authorized Management, Business teams (mainly CTO & CCS), Market Integrity Central, Group Compliance Domains, Global Financial Security, KYC teams

AREAS OF INTERVENTION
Under the authority of the Chief Compliance Officer, the compliance officer contributes to ensuring that BNPP SA framework complies with the Group rules and the Luxembourg regulations in force, as regards

  • Prevention of money laundering, fight against corruption and terrorism financing, compliance with sanctions and embargoes
  • Deployment and implementation of Compliance permanent control framework and followup of concrete action plans
  • Deployment and/or adaptation of Compliance policies and procedures

ACTIVITIES

  • Identification and assessment of the Compliance Risk regarding new products, new relationships and each extension of the activity
  • Escalation of the identified sensitivities (including Sanctions topics, suspicious activities.)
  • Assessment of procedures, recommendations in agreement with the regulator's directives and the Compliance Charter put in place in this framework
